Has your Mobile App been less responsive or locked on one photo? Here are some tips for speeding it back up.
Account ID and Access Code

Refresh

The quick method is to check the settings, under Mobile Settings, turn “Download only when Wi-Fi is available” to off, then adjust the slider for “Photos – Auto Purge Days” to somewhere between 4-7 days. Go to the Authentication page and click on Authenticate again. This will refresh your app and hopefully resolve some of those slow issues. Fully closing the app and re-opening will also help on refreshing it.

Remove and Reinstall

A more detailed method is to log into your account on jagerprowireless.com, click on any photo for your camera and it will bring up a collage of your photos, 64 photos per page. You can check each individual picture or choose “Select All” from the options on the right. There is also a “Select None” or “View Slide Show” button. I find it easier to start on the last page and work my way to the first page. Once you have selected your photo(s), you can choose from the other options, Request High Res, Download to Zip or Delete Photo(s). If you want to save the photos prior to deleting them, then choose the Download to Zip option, otherwise choose Delete Photo(s). Then click on the GO button. Repeat this process for the other pages until all your photos have been cleared out. Photos are only saved for 30 days on the website before being auto purged.

Once the photos from the website have been cleared out, the next step is to remove the app from your phone. For the iPhone, you will want to go to Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage > Jager Pro app, then click the button “Delete App”. Once removed, go back into your App Store and search for Jager Pro Wireless. Click on the download app and re-install the app.

For the Android, you will want to go to Settings > Application Manager > Jager Pro app > and click on Uninstall. Once removed, go back into the Google Play store and search for Jager Pro Wireless. Click on the download app and re-install the app.

Apple App Mobile SettingsOnce the app is re-installed you will have to re-add your credentials back into the system. Add in your Account ID and Access Code, this can be found under your account on jagerprowireless > My Cameras > Mobile Access. Once they are inserted, click on Save then on Authenticate. Now you will want to adjust the settings to keep everything cleaned up. Under Mobile Settings, turn “Download only when Wi-Fi is available” to off, then adjust the slider for “Photos – Auto Purge Days” to somewhere between 4-7 days. This way you will receive photos while away from home or when you’re not near a Wi-Fi hotspot and the app will automatically delete photos older than the days you specified.

Locking up

If your app stops downloading on a specific photo, delete any photos off your account on jagerprowireless. It is best to find the one before and after the photo it is locked on and delete those ones first. If you have any photos with an X next to them, you will need to delete all those photos. Once complete, you will need to open your app, go to Authentication and tap on “Authenticate”. This will update your app and you will start receiving photos again.

Now your photos will be coming in again and you shouldn’t have to go through this process again but it is still recommended that you occasionally delete the photos from the server to keep everything running smoothly.

Another note to remember is that even though you deleted the photos from the website and mobile app, they are still available on the SD card from your camera.
