Description
The JAGER PRO 18-60™ Rigid Trap Panel (patented) was developed over six years of intensive feral hog trapping research to create a stronger, safer, and more efficient trap solution. Each panel is 8 feet long and constructed with 18 horizontal bars made of heavy-duty, .220-inch diameter galvanized steel wire. The bottom bars are spaced just 2 inches apart—close enough to contain even the youngest juvenile pigs and prevent escapes.
At 60 inches high, the panel also deters adult hogs from jumping over. Weighing only 58 pounds, it’s significantly lighter than traditional horse panels, making it easier for a single operator to transport, carry, and install in the field. Each panel is welded to a rigid 1-inch steel frame and connects via a 5-foot steel connecting rod, eliminating the need for T-posts and allowing a complete enclosure to be erected in under 30 minutes.
Unlike standard panels, this design is galvanized before welding to improve corrosion resistance and extend its field life. The 18-60™ Panel delivers exceptional strength and durability to withstand aggressive hog pressure and minimize the risk of damage or escape.
JAGER PRO recommends using twelve of these panels in combination with the M.I.N.E.® Gate to build a standard 35-foot diameter trap enclosure. This setup has been field-tested to maximize efficiency, safety, and success rates in hog control operations.
