Email Recipients
NOTICE: All photos taken from the cameras are transmitted to our website using mobile data then sent to our mobile app from our server. Carriers like AT&T and Verizon actively monitor and filter these messages to protect subscribers from spam. The carriers can also block email-to-text messages without notice which is the reason our customers were not receiving texted photos and users have no way of knowing that a problem exists. Some companies and/or government agencies’ spam filters can also block these messages. Due to the unreliable nature of email-to-text messaging we updated our app to be the primary notification method.
To add email or phone numbers as recipients, log into your my.jagerpro.com account. Click on Account > Email Contacts. This will open the Email Contacts Page.
Input the recipient’s email address as appropriate, tap on GET HELP for details. Check the box “Use Plain Text” and click on “Update”.
Adding Phone Numbers
Input the recipient’s phone numbers cellular email address used to receive the MMS (text message with picture).
If your recipient phone number is 706-718-9789 and it is a Verizon number, the email to receive the MMS message will be “7067189789@vzwpix.com”.
If your recipient phone number is 706-718-9789 and it is an AT&T number, the email to receive the MMS message will be “7067189789@mms.att.net”.
If your recipient phone number is 706-718-9789 and it is a T-mobile number, the email to receive the MMS message will be “7067189789@tmomail.net”.
For more information for other carriers, follow this link.
Do not check the box “Use Plain Text” for phone numbers. Finish by clicking on “Update”.
Delivery Options
Once the email address or phone number has been added, now you will want to select each recipient who will receive photos for that camera. Under Cameras > Delivery Options or under Camera Menu, click on Delivery Options for your specific camera.
Now you can check the box for each recipient for that camera. If you have multiple cameras, you can select the next one or a specific one by opening the drop-down menu next to “Select a Camera” then click on “Select”. Now you can check the box for each recipient and click “Update” when complete.
Test your settings by requesting a photo from your camera. The next photo you receive should have an “S” code at the bottom and delivered to the appropriate recipient(s). If they do not receive the photo, make sure you have the appropriate carrier for their number. Even though some cellular carriers go through (as an example) Verizon, their carrier may actually belong to Sprint, each carrier has a specific gateway associated with it, this needs to be inserted properly. Make sure their number is checked under “Delivery Options”.
