The JAGER PRO® M.I.N.E.® Sergeant Trap Package is a remote controlled feral hog trap designed to capture entire sounders of wild pigs using real-time monitoring and remote gate activation. Developed by JAGER PRO® and protected by multiple utility and design patents, the M.I.N.E.® Trapping System allows operators to monitor hog activity in real time and trigger the trap only when the entire group is inside.
The system features double hog trap gates with no thresholds, each measuring 8 feet wide and constructed from 2″ x 4″ welded 6-gauge steel. Gate openings measure 40 inches tall by 96 inches wide, allowing adult hogs to comfortably feed sideways during pre-baiting and conditioning. Gate placement can be adjusted along travel corridors to improve success when trapping trap-resistant feral pigs.
The enclosure is built using the patented 18-60™ Rigid Trap Panels, which are 8 feet wide and constructed from heavy-duty 4-gauge galvanized steel. Panels are secured together using full-length steel connecting rods, creating an extremely durable hog trap enclosure. All panels and gates are 68 inches tall, preventing both juvenile and adult hog escapes.
The base trap configuration forms a 32-foot diameter remote controlled feral hog trap, providing ample space to capture entire sounders. The enclosure can also be expanded with additional panels to increase trap size depending on the property and hog population. A unique design feature creates a 24-foot gate opening for pass-through baiting, helping condition hogs to freely enter and exit the trap during the pre-baiting stage.
Remote monitoring is provided by the 4G/LTE M.I.N.E.® live video camera, delivering daily intelligence from the trap site. The JAGER PRO® mobile app allows users to view activity, adjust camera settings, and monitor hog movement from an Android or iPhone. Once the entire sounder is inside the trap, gates can be triggered remotely using a mobile phone, tablet, or computer, or activated on-site using the handheld remote control.
The result is a professional remote controlled feral hog trap system designed to improve trapping success, reduce missed captures, and help landowners and wildlife managers remove entire sounders rather than individual animals.
