Is your Gate Not Dropping Or Responding?
- Check the battery voltage: Use a multimeter to test the battery inside the control box. The voltage should read 11.50 volts or higher to ensure proper gate operation. If the reading is below this level, recharge the battery fully before testing again.
- Inspect control box connection:Open the control box and carefully examine all wiring and terminals. Make sure every connection is secure, tight, and free of corrosion. Loose or damaged connections can lead to inconsistent performance and system failure.
- Test the onsite remote functionality: Check the batteries in the onsite remote by pressing and holding the button for 2–3 seconds. Watch for the indicator light to turn on. If no light appears, replace the batteries and test again to restore reliable communication.
- Re-sync the system components: If issues persist, re-sync the onsite remote and camera with the control box. This ensures all components are properly connected and communicating for smooth, responsive operation.
- Perform a final system check: After completing these steps, test the full setup to confirm everything is working as expected. Consistent power, secure connections, and properly synced components are key to dependable gate performance in the field.
