Dark Picture Fixes:
If your camera is capturing dark pictures at night, the ambient light sensor may not be functioning correctly. Start by turning the camera off and then back on to see if this resolves the issue.
Next, check your camera settings under System and make sure the flash power is set to “High.” This can improve nighttime image quality.
In some cases, the issue may be related to timing where the infrared (IR) lights are firing too early or too late, causing the image to appear dark.
If power cycling and adjusting settings do not fix the problem and you’re still receiving dark pictures, contact support for further assistance, as this issue may require replacement or cannot be resolved in the field.
