Live Button Not Turning Green or Responding
If your live button isn’t turning green or has become unresponsive, there are a few simple steps you can follow to get it back into operation quickly. Most issues are related to app performance or connectivity and can be resolved in just a few minutes.
Refresh the App
Fully closing the app and reopening it is the first step. This process clears background activity and helps reset performance.
If you are using an iPhone, from the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle. This will display all apps currently running in the background. Swipe left or right to find the app, then swipe it up to close it.
If you are using an Android device, tap the App Overview button (next to the Home and Back button). This will show all apps running in the background. You can tap “Close All” or swipe up to remove the app.
Reopening the app after this step typically resolves lag and can restore the live button to normal function.
Check Your Connection
Make sure your phone has a strong data connection or is connected to WiFi. Poor signal strength can impact performance and prevent features from responding properly.
If you are on WiFi, try turning it off and back on to re-establish a stable connection. Once your connection is stable, check to see if the live button is working as expected.
Clear Cache or Reinstall the App
For Android users, clearing the cache and data can help resolve deeper performance issues.
Long press the app and tap the (i) button to open settings. You can also go to Settings > Apps > jagerpro app > Storage.
From there:
- Clear cache
- Then clear data
You will need to log back into your account after completing this step.
If the issue continues, uninstalling and reinstalling the app may be necessary. Long press the app and select uninstall, then restart your phone to fully clear any remaining data. Reinstall the app from the Apple App store or Google Play store by searching “jagerpro camera mgmt.”
After reinstalling, open the app and confirm the live button is functioning properly.
